This proved to be an inspiration for a fragrance. The Paul Smith rose is a potently fragrant, cochineal pink bloom, with a tight peony centre and full outer centre. It was first presented in 2006 at the Chelsea Flower Show.No blooms are harvested, crushed and distilled--instead the living flower is isolated in a glass bell and equipment ‘inhales’ the scent.

The rose’s scent has been blended with Turkish rose oil and green tea with a sparkling halo of violet and magnolia flowers. A woody accord, with touches of cedar, provides depth and structure which, along with soft husks, give it an addictive quality.A rose by any other name might be something you expect... Despite what some are saying, via the Question and Answer section of this product's advert; this item is not fake or a copy etc. It is the real deal and looks extra special with added gift bag. I was dubious at low price but knew that if item ended up not being official Amazon would gladly support a return and refund. Mum uses this all the time and she was over the moon with such a large bottle and free appropriately decorated gift bag that accompanied it.(Read more)
